Three Quotes

It seems like things go down hill after the holidays. This year I’m having that Post-Holiday Depression and everything is getting on my last nerve. Like a news story in my school newspaper on saying Merry Christmas vs. Happy Holidays and the end just offended me. I celebrate Christmas, but when I think of it, I try to include everyone and list off all of the winter holidays because I prefer it rather than saying “Happy Holidays.” But I find it offensive that people flat-out say, “Because of my religion I will never say Happy Holidays.” People are courteous to you by acknowledging that you may not celebrate the same holiday as them so give them the same respect.

And then it gets me thinking and wondering why religion is so important to people. I’m truly being honest, I don’t get it. But that’s a separate story to saved for another day.

And then people taking credit for other people’s work, especially my own, pisses me off beyond belief. Yes siree, it’s been a terrible Friday.
